Future’s been busy this week with the lead-up to his next album, Dirty Sprite 2 — dropping new music, doing a lot of interviews, and saying a number of things about his ex Ciara, after remaining quiet for most of the almost year-long period since their relationship ended.

In his latest interview with The Breakfast Club, he addresses a tweet that he sent a few weeks prior to his album announcement, where he said he “got that curse up off” him. “I’m back,” he told host Charlamagne. “I guess you gotta have a baby or something to knock the curse off. I ain’t thinking about her, man.

“You don’t bring a man around your son,” the rapper added, alluding to Ciara spending time with both the younger Future and her new boyfriend Russell Wilson. “You’ve known this man for a few months and you’re bringing him around your kid? Who does that?”

He speaks about writing “Body Party” with the singer as well, describing the process, through producer Mike WiLL Made-It bringing him the beat, to the finished product. “It was great for the both of us,” he said.
