After a lengthy break, ‘Puff Daddy’ appears on the ranking, thanks to his new ‘Finna Get Loose,’ featuring Pharrell Williams.

Puff Daddy is back on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

For the first time in 15 years as a lead act, Diddy’s original artist name graces the list, as Puff Daddy & the Family’s “Finna Get Loose,” featuring Pharrell Williams, arrives as the week’s top debut at No. 44. The rapper notched 17 hits under the Puff Daddy moniker between 1996 and 2000, including three No. 1s. (He made a brief revival of the name in 2009 as a featured act on Cassie’s “Must Be Love,” which peaked at No. 56.)

The new single premiered with a flashy performance at the BET Awards on June 28, following a Bad Boy Records medley celebrating the label and featuring some of its biggest artists, including Lil’ Kim, Mase and 112, in addition to the Bad Boy founder, born Sean Combs.
